There are two methods of embedding a LibGuide into your Canvas Course. Choose the method that best suits your needs. View the video linked below for a demonstration of both.
External URL
1. Go to the appropriate module in your Canvas course and add an External URL.
2. Insert the link to the LibGuide.
3. Give the page a name, such as "Course Library."
4. Add Item.
External Tool
1. Go to the appropriate module in your Canvas course and add an External Tool.
2. Select for Library Guides and Materials in the menu.
3. For Content Type, select whether you want to embed the Full LibGuide, a Single Page, or a Content Box.
Usually, you'll choose Full LibGuide to access all the pages.
4. For Guide, search for the LibGuide you want to embed and select it.
5. For Guide Page, select what page will be the landing page, usually the Home or Welcome page.
6. Add Item.
