When searching for journal articles you can use the Peer reviewed filters located in many of the databases.

If you have questions about a specific article and if it has gone through the peer review process, you can look at the journal's webpage where there should be a statement about the journal's editorial review process. Or you can look at the author or submission guidelines to get a better sense of the journal's overall editorial process.

If you still have questions, contact a librarian.
